The aims of the Contact Allergy Foundation is to increase the knowledge and distribute more widely the information on contact allergy to the medical profession and the patients, the pharmaceutical and cosmetic (or other) industries, as well as to the government and research centres concerned.

The existing databases concerning contact allergy patients, products and allergens need to be further developed and updated.

Furthermore, it is the goal of the Foundation to encourage scientific research in contact allergy, for example, by the performance of epidemiological studies, the determination of the most frequent, and also new, allergens in several domains.
